Indications
Associated with immunotherapy-responsive autoimmune encephalitis. Different antibodies correlate with variable clinical syndromes and can indicate an underlying tumour.
Comments/Precautions
NMDA - Fixed cell and live cell assays are available, Fixed cell assay has a higher sensitivity and is the first line test. Please discuss with immunology if a live cell assay is required. Referred outside EPA.
